The Islamic State militant group has released a second video showing British journalist John Cantlie, who is being held hostage by the fighters. Mr Cantlie who was kidnapped in Syria in 2012 is seen dressed in orange in the video and reading from a script he said he has been abandoned by the UK.
The five-minute video posted online on Tuesday comes hours after the first airstrikes were launched by the US and partners of a coalition against ISIL targets in Syria.
